Daddy Tastes Good!

I think some of the best times we have as a family is going for walks.  Waylen really likes the outdoors.  The combination of fresh air and watching the other walkers, joggers and bikers makes for an exciting time!  He's also got a pretty good view from that baby carrier.  This was Carl's first time utilizing it, later, when I asked him how he liked it, he said, "I know now what it feels like to be pregnant".  He still has no idea, does he ladies?  But I smiled and shook my head yes as if to agree with him and politely responded, "Im glad you have an idea of how I felt"  

Sleepy Heads

I love this little series!!  Waylen and Daddy are relaxing after a busy day.  This is a little bit older of a picture - Waylen was only 2 months.

Books, Books, Books

Waylen loves to look at books.  We walk up to the library often and check out books and every other Thursday there is a baby book reading/activity time that we go to.  He LOVES other kids, though he cant do much play right now, he really enjoys to watch.  He tries his best to communicate and waves his arms in excitement with any attention that he gets.  His little smile is so contagious, it is getting bigger the older he is getting and his little grin goes from ear to ear!!  At first he was only interested in the black and white books, "Baby Animals" by Phyllis Limbacher Tildes was his absolute favorite, we could look at the pictures over and over.  In these photos, he is reading "Look at the Animals" by Peter Linenthal (black and white).  He still loves the contrast with the b&w, although now that he is 5 months and his vision had improved greatly, he loves bright colors.  I would say his favorites right now are "I kissed the baby" by Mary Murphy and "Stawberries are Red" by Petr Horacek.  

YUM! APPLES

YUM! Mommy tells me apples are good for me.  A couple weeks ago Daddy let me taste some watermelon, that was good too.  Soon, I will be able to eat all this goodness!!

Grandparents Are The Best

Grandpa makes me laugh, he is so much fun.  I love him and Grandma very much.  Mom says that one day I will be able to make horse sounds just like Grandpa, I cant wait!! But for now I will watch and learn.

How Diehrly I Love You
