The other night we had a nice lighting and thunder storm. Well, this made for a bad sleeping night for Waylen....who cried every 5 minutes for what felt like 2 hours. He was scared of the lightning noises outside. We were constantly going back into his room. At first we asked him, "what's the matter?" He said, through the tears, that "the sky is blinking." We tried to explain to him that God made the lightning and thunder, and that this was a good thing. He wasn't convinced. We told him that God made the sky, the moon, the stars, AND the planets. Now planets, he liked. He really wants to see the planets, and asks about them everyday. Looks like a trip to the planetarium is coming up...

Aww..that's so sweet! He's so smart....to verbalize that the sky is blinking is very descriptive! He's probably the smartest 2 yr. old ever....I'd better stop bragging.......
